Coming up with product creation ideas to add to your TpT store is hard. But once you figure out the formula of what your customers love, you will be able to make TpT products quickly and easily.
Today I am sharing with you three TpT products to make that will help you get your TpT store off the ground.
This blog post is very timely because we're approaching the holiday season and a new year and I want to help you get a jumpstart on your Teachers Pay Teachers store. My goal for you is to start creating products now instead of waiting until the last minute, so you can have a strategic plan to make sales right now!
Goal setting products are a great way to make sales each trimester
Create goal setting products to help students reflect on 1st semester
My first product idea is for you to have a goal planning sheet or workbook so that teachers can have something ready for their students to reflect on their learning for the new year and make goals for what they want to accomplish for the following year. You can turn it into a workbook and have it be something more pricey, or you could have it be just a couple pages and have it as a $2-$3.00 product. This goal setting product needs to be something very simple for teachers to quickly grab and execute with their students because we all know that setting goals is one of the best ways we can grow as learners. Our students need to learn how to do this too. There's many ways you could set this up. One of the best ways to start making a goal setting TPT product is by using Canva and searching for goal setting worksheets. Canva has tons of templates to choose from, or you can make your own.
Seasonal products can become some of your best sellers
Create seasonal products for the fall and winter holidays
My second product idea for your TPT store for this holiday season is to create products that are holiday based. I don't always recommend this as something to start in your TPT store but if you're an established seller, or you're looking for new ideas to sell quickly, then let's think about the holidays that are coming up right now. You don't always have to have all the traditional holidays, you could pick some that are less traditional and think about products that you would actually like to use in your own classroom during the holidays. Maybe they're more educational based, or maybe they're fun based. Write out a list of all the holidays and then go from there. Once you have a template for one you can make more. So let's say you had a Thanksgiving product, you could also make one for Christmas as well or Hanukkah. Once you have one product in a product line use that as a template to streamline it.
Bundles make great steady income for your TpT store
Bundle your best selling products to increase your TpT sales year round
My third and final idea for your TPT store for this holiday season is to bundle your best selling products. I don't mean kind of willy-nilly put products together, but rather bundle things that make sense. Let's say you have a whole bunch of activities for literacy stations, could you reverse engineer those and plan ahead and maybe create a whole year long plan bundle? Could you have a season at a time? Bundles have the capability of becoming best sellers for you and a steady stream of income. I think this tip is the best one because it goes year round. It doesn't matter when you're bundling something. The holidays are a great time to think about that because we're looking ahead to the next year and you want to be thinking about how your store could be making extra money.
