5 Strategies For A High Converting Services Page
One of the best ways to get more tutoring clients is to have a high converting services page. In this blog post, I’m going to break down what a services page is for your online tutoring business and what you need to convert potential clients into paying clients.
Let’s break down what a services page is first so we’re on the right track. A services page is a separate tab on your website that tells your potential clients exactly what tutoring services you offer. A title for the name of each service with a description of what the service entails is a great way to explain to potential clients what you offer.
The goal of a high converting sales page is to convert potential clients into paying clients.
The ultimate goal of a high converting sales page is to convert potential clients into paying clients who come back for every product and service you have to offer. A high converting services page relates to your ideal customer by using their language. By using your ideal customer’s language, you’re appealing to the problem they have and showing them you provide a solution. I teach this entire process inside of Tutorpreneur Academy®.
Use your ideal customer’s language in your copy
Like I mentioned before, it’s extremely important to use your ideal customer’s language. So what do I mean by that? Let’s say you have a form potential client’s fill out to work with you. Use the same language they use when describing their child’s struggles with learning. For example: “My daughter needs help with her reading confidence.” On your services page this could be a header “It’s hard watching your child lose their confidence with reading. Can you relate?” Applying empathy back to the potential client is paramount for them trusting you to sign up for your tutoring services.
Be clear on exactly what services you offer
Defining your tutoring niche is one of the first lessons inside of Tutorpreneur Academy®. So many times, I’ve worked with tutors who want to help everyone so their tutoring niche is undefined. The problem with this is you’re not working in your zone of genius and you’re also confusing your ideal customer. On your services page, you should be very clear on exactly what tutoring services you offer so your potential client knows if you’re a good fit or not. If you’re a reading tutor but someone wants help with science, this is not your ideal client. It’s not your area of expertise and saying yes because you feel bad saying no is going to waste your time and your client’s time.
Use client testimonials as social proof to convert people to book a session
A good testimonial will do the talking for your tutoring business. Testimonials are the social proof your business needs to convert a potential client to book a session. If you’re unsure what questions to ask to get a glowing testimonial, read this blog post. You can also get the 8 questions I personally ask my own tutoring clients for free here!
Many tutors I’ve worked with are afraid to talk about their tutoring services. Testimonials are a great way to talking about how amazing your services are without being salesy. That’s why inside of Tutorpreneur Promo Kit®, I’ve included a lesson on testimonials as well as editable Canva templates to customize to your unique business!
Add CTA buttons to invite potential clients to click
Call To Action (CTA) buttons are essential to getting a potential client to click on booking a service with you. Your CTA should be direct and to the point. “Book A Free Consultation Now” or “Get Your Free Reading Assessment Here.” Whether you’re directing them to your lead magnet to grow your email list or having a discovery call with a potential tutoring client, having a direct call to action is going to elicit the response you want.
Have a questionnaire form so you can figure out exactly what the potential client needs before your discovery call
This is a page I would definitely have on my tutoring website if I were you. You want the potential tutoring client to fill out as much information as possible before they book a discovery call or free session with you. You’ll have their exact language so you can repurpose to social media and use it as content ideas, and you won’t have to go back and forth via email getting to the root of their problem. I teach this entire process inside of Tutorpreneur Academy®!
