You're likely already using a unique tutoring method and don’t even realize it. This is something that I help my students inside of Tutorpreneur Academy® really hone in on. Maybe you already know what makes your tutoring method unique, and if so, that’s great! You probably have something that you could sell that you're using in your tutoring business on Teachers Pay Teachers that would help other tutors. An example of this might be the way to schedule your clients or perhaps you have an awesome way to plan out how you schedule a tutoring session. You could turn both of those into a TPT product and later down the road into a bundle and make extra money using things you're already using inside of your business. How cool would that be?

You’ve likely created tons of resources for your tutoring clients that can easily turn into products that sell on TPT
You've likely already created lots of resources to help your tutoring clients. Why not sell them and help other teachers and tutors out? Let's say you were looking for the perfect math worksheet and you couldn't find it so you had to create it yourself. There are other teachers out there that need that exact worksheet. Have you told yourself that everything has already been created and why would anyone want to buy my products? If so, that’s a limiting mindset and it’s 100% not true! There is no one like you making the resources you’re making! You probably have a Google Drive file or even a flash drive full of potential TPT products. Start by going through the files and make a list and see how many you have and start creating them. That's something I help teachers and tutors do inside of From Zero To Cha-Ching is learning how to turn things that you already have into a product that will sell or learning how to create them from scratch as well. Use your tutoring clients' pain points to find solutions that can make tutoring easier for them. When somebody wants to work with you, you likely get either a message on your website, a text from a parent or an email, and they are sharing their pain points or things that their child is having issues with. That is great data to save inside of a Google doc somewhere where you can access it again, especially on those times when you're trying to figure out what kind of product to make. You can go back and look at their pain points and create the perfect product. It's also a great place to get ideas to figure out what your content should be for your weekly content for your tutoring business. I have many blog posts about creating weekly content.

Start aligning your tutoring business with your TPT store so you can earn passive income in your business. You know that I am huge on passive income. In fact, my goal for my tutoring business is actually to tutor less, but earn more. You might be thinking “But Molly, that sounds kind of crazy.” Well, I definitely break that down in my free masterclass on How to Build Your Dream Tutoring Business. If you haven't watched that one yet. I explain how I work around 10 hours a week tutoring and not more than that and still meet my monthly income goals (and that’s with passive income!) Teachers Pay Teachers is one of my favorite ways because once you create one product, it can turn into a whole product line. Then you can bundle them and make money for years to come. If you're doing all the things that I teach my students inside of my courses: blogging and talking about your products and your services, then you will make money! You just have to be in it for the long run and not think of it as a get rich quick scheme because that never works.

I want to encourage you just to go back with the tip that I said earlier and look through all the files of things you've created and just make a list of products you could create.
