How I Made Over $600 In 1 Day While At Disney
In February, I went to Walt Disney World in Florida with my husband, cousin and his wife. We’ve been quite a few times together and enjoy getting to do all the fun kid stuff as adults. While at the Animal Kingdom, I had a day of sales where I made over $600 passively, not with tutoring!
I’m not promising you that you’re going to make this much money, but I am going to break down how I did it and give you some strategies to take away so you can do it too!

The number one way I earned over $600 in one day was with online courses. Creating an online course is the best way to earn passive income while you’re on vacation. One of my sales was my signature course, Tutorpreneur Academy® and the other sale was an upsell for Tutorpreneur Promo Kit®. Combined, those two sales together brought in the bulk of the money I made that day. If you haven’t created an online course yet, you really should consider it. I encourage teachers I work with all the time to do this because once you do the hard work of creating the course, the course will sell and make money passively. Whether you are live launching or an evergreen model, you’ll make sales and all the sweat, blood and tears you put into creating your course will pay off.

I can emphasize that enough - just start! You don’t have to trade all your time for dollars by tutoring or coaching people. I’ve been making consistent sales in my TPT store for the last 1-2 years and the more time I put into my store, the more money I make. February is a big sales month for me with the products I have in my store, and this day was no exception.

I blog once a week and send my email list an email that goes hand in hand with the blog. I also turn my blog posts into YouTube videos and repurpose the same content to reach more people. Passive sales come from building your email list and giving your ideal customers what they need. In return for their email address, my ideal customer is getting lots of good tips and tricks every week. When I’m ready to make a sale, I get sales from those people who have been taken care of via email. Is it 100% of the people on my list who buy, NO, but it’s the standard 2-3% you can expect when you’re nurturing your email list.
